Next April will be a big election in Independence. Here’s why?

We will elect a mayor and two at large City Council members.

There will be a primary February if there are three or more candidates for mayor or five or more candidates at large.

We also will elect two directors for the Independence Board of Education.

And there many be other Independence related issues on the ballot.

This website provides a central place to learn about the candidates and provides direct links to their websites, social media and campaign financial disclosure reports.

The website will be regularly updated as candidates announce and issues get added to the ballot.
