Special Election (Nov. 4, 2025): Four-Day School Week
Voters in the Independence School District (ISD) will vote Nov. 4 on the issue of the four-day school week which the school district currently uses.

The ballot question is:
“Shall the school board of Independence 30 School District adopt the provisions of Section 171.028, RSMo, establishing a four-day school week for the next ten years in the district of Independence?”
A campaign committee has been formed to support retaining the four-day school week.
